THE JOURNEY

Our Mission:

   •  To circumnavigate the exterior main land mass of Australia by bicycle, unassisted using only human

       power. This represents a distance of some 15,500km.

 

Our Objectives:

   •  To raise awareness of youth suicide and mental health issues

   •  To actively promote Reachout.com

   •  To raise money for The Inspire Foundation

 

Our Time Frame:

   •  6 months

About The Ride

THE EQUIPMENT

Nic and Matt will ride Merida bicycles and tow trailers which will carry the necessary food, water, clothing and camping equipment for travel between civilisation. Heading off in early August following an anti-clock wise route; Riders Choice AUSyouthcycle will make best use of prevailing winds and safely transverse the tropics outside of the wet. With a total distance of over 15,500km, Nic and Matt plan to achieve the mission in approximately months.

GPS TRACKING

GPS tracking feature allows you to view the latest destinations visited and the exact course taken. Riders Choice AUSyouthcycle will upload daily GPS information from our Magellan GPS.
