Reachout.com is a web based service provided by The Inspire Foundation that aims to improve the mental health and wellbeing of young people aged 14-25 years by providing information, support and skills development for young people and working with health professionals to strengthen the pathways between online and community based service delivery.

 

Anonymous and available 24 hours a day, Reach Out serves young people, in particular those who are geographically or socially isolated, who may not be comfortable seeking professional help, or who are unsure about where to find the help they need in their community.

 

The service aims to break down the stigma attached to seeking help, and connect young people so they can share their stories and provide support to each other in a safe and positive environment.

INSPIRE FOUNDATION

The Inspire Foundation was established in 1996 in direct response to Australia's then escalating rates of youth suicide.  The not-for profit combines technology with the direct involvement of young people to deliver innovative and practical online programs that prevent youth suicide and improve young people's mental health and wellbeing.  Its mission is to help millions of young people lead happier lives.

 

Inspires dream is for a world where every young person can stand up and say “I am happy”.
